Η αρμενικής καταγωγής καλλιτέχνις γεννήθηκε στην Αθήνα.
Ολοκλήρωσε τις σπουδές της Pratt Institute, Νέα Υόρκη (Master of Fine Arts) και Hunter College, Νέα Υόρκη (Bachelor of Fine Arts).
