Giorgos Kraniou was born in Melbourne in 1972. He received his first degree in Health Sciences and his PhD in Molecular Biology (Deakin University, Melbourne VIC). He studied painting under Dimitris Maninis (2013-2015). As of 2015 he has been a member of the “Simio” Art Group, where he studies painting under Giorgos Rorris and Kallia Triantafyllou. He lives and works in Athens.
