He was born in Athens in 1953. In 1977 he graduated from the School of Architecture of the University of Thessaloniki. In 1987 he completed his post-graduate studies in the Laboratory for Research in Spatial Planning and Urban Development of the N.T.U.A (National Technical University of Athens). He is a member of both the Chamber of Fine Arts and the Technical Chamber of Greece.
