Magda Asteri was born in Volos in 1950. She received a Diploma in Painting from the Athens School of Fine Arts in 1997, under professors D. Kokkinidis and D. Mytaras, while she studied engraving for 2 years with professor N. Papadakis. She has presented her work in 10 personal exhibitions in Athens, Volos, Larissa, Molfetta, Potenza, Bari and she has participated in group exhibitions in Athens, Volos, Milan, New York, Bari, Florence, Venice, Spotorno, Molfetta, Avellino, Maratea, Damascus and Syracuse. She has taken part in painting symposiums in Italy and Poland. Artworks of her can be found in private and public collections in Greece, Italy and England. She lives and works in Athens.
